West Side Hikes

Also called Leeward Hikes, these hikes take place on western side of the island, near Waianae and Makaha. These hikes primarily take place in the Waianae Mountain Range, the larger of the two ranges on the island. The terrain is significantly browner than its windward counterpart, due to there being less rain. The hikes themselves tend to be more physically challenging since the range is larger, but still offer outstanding views of this part of the island.
