Throughout this site you will notice words you may not recognize like mauna or puka. These are words native to the Hawaiian Language. Since I moved here, I have made an effort to embrace this amazing culture and learn as many of these words as I can. I've included a short list of some of the words you may encounter.

Aloha- most know this as Hello or Goodbye, but can also mean compassion, affection, and peace. In Hawaii, it is almost an essence, something you can share or spread (hence my tagline).

Honu- sea turtle. There are a plethora of honus around the Hawaiian Islands to see (just don't touch them!!!)
